MultiWeb is an Internet browser for Windows 3.x/95 aimed at improving access to the WWW for users with a disability. Developed by the Equity Access Research and Development Group at Deakin University under a grant from the Australian Commonwealth Department of Health and Family Services, MultiWeb is freely available for distribution but cannot be sold for profit.
Oxford Brookes University have developed a Web browser for the blind and visually impaired called BrookesTalk
The Opera web browser has a number of facilities that make it interesting for disabled users. Currently Opera runs only on Windows PCs
WebSpeak talking browser.
Lynx is a text browser for the World Wide Web. Lynx 2.8.2 runs on Unix, VMS, Windows 95/98/NT but not 3.1 or 3.11, on DOS (386 or higher) and OS/2 EMX. The current developmental version is also available for testing. Ports to Mac are in beta test.
Conversa Web is a web browser that understands voice commands.
IBM Home Page Reader for Windows Version 2.5 [url needs fixing], the latest addition to the IBM Independence Series family of solutions for persons with disabilities. IBM's talking web browser brings the voice of the World Wide Web to blind and visually impaired users.
